Tahoe:

That evening we busted out all the gear--- literally all of the gear, since we had yet to all be in the same place at the same time. This, less than 24 hours before our first performance. We had driven to Lake Tahoe, a great idea as a respite to the heat of Reno and the desert below. Cool evening air and margaritas set the tone for the remainder of the night. Back at the motel we set up the video gear for BK, and ran all of the audio through E23's boombox. OVNI in da house, yo. The room quickly heated up with both the energy of the equipment (which was strewn across both beds and covered whatever floor space we had) and the fallout from La Pinata, which was in full effect emanating from both BK and dev's south of the border con-trails. Having tested the set-up and familiarized BK with the audio portion of the show (and likewise been introduced to the video he brought along) we settled in to the long dark night of slowly erupting efluvium flava'd jet streams of love.
